DCS Data Centers is headquartered in Annapolis Maryland, with presence in California, Florida and Utah. Our purpose is to assist clients with the planning, design, building and maintaining of critical facilities, mainly data centers. All data centers present their own unique set of challenges. DCS has years of experience in the marketplace and is exceptionally qualified to provide these construction services.

Our goal is to be an engineering-driven business. We strive to evaluate and make wise technical and fiscal decisions, while keeping quality, efficiency, modularity, maintainability, affordability and delivery time frames to higher standards.

Meet The Team

Scott Hoover: President/CEO

Scott Hoover - DCS OwnerScott Hoover began his construction career 35 years ago, with his first data center project completed for MCI in 1985. In 1993 Scott formed a company called Advanced Technical Solutions (ATS). ATS grew from a small start-up services firm to a premier data center solutions firm serving customers throughout the United States. ATS developed a partnership with IBM and collaborated on a number of projects with IBM technology infrastructure units. In 2007 Scott sold portions of ATS to a national technology infrastructure company looking to acquire key components of ATS business lines. This enabled Scott to focus on building DCS which he had started a year before. Scott is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering.

Dave Wyrick: VP Business Development

Dave Wyrick - DCS VP Business DevelopmentDave possesses 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and 21 years focused on data centers and other mission critical facilities. Mr. Wyrick’s experience includes inside and outside plant design, meet-me-room design, carrier negotiations, project management and now focuses on business development.


Steve Weatherford: VP Operations

Steve Weatherford - VP Operations DCSSteve possesses over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with emphasis on project management – projects encompassing a broad spectrum of client requirements. Responsibilities include managing design/build efforts, development of IAQ and safety plans, subcontractor coordination, and providing all close out documentation. Retired military.
